EST Aquatics Policies

Before registering for an EST Aquatics course, please review the following course policies.

Course Requirements

  • All required online training must be completed before the first in-person session, unless otherwise stated by the instructor.
  • Full attendance is required for all scheduled in-person sessions. Participants who miss any portion of the course may be ineligible for certification.
  • Certification is not guaranteed. Participants must successfully complete all required course components, which may include online coursework, prerequisite skills, in-water skills, classroom instruction, CPR/AED and First Aid skills, final skill evaluations, and written exams.

Refunds & Transfers

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before the course start date are eligible for a refund minus a $10 processing fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course start date are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are not issued for absences, incomplete online training, missed sessions, failed prerequisite skills, failed evaluations, or unsuccessful course completion.
  • Transfers to a later course may be offered when available, but are not guaranteed.
  • If EST Aquatics cancels a course due to low enrollment, facility closure, instructor availability, weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances, participants may be offered a refund or transfer option. Any applicable processing fees may be deducted.

Physical Readiness & Liability

  • Aquatics and safety training courses may involve physical activity, swimming, rescue skills, lifting, kneeling, bending, CPR skills, and other physically demanding tasks.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate. Anyone with health concerns should consult a medical professional before registering.
  • By registering, participants acknowledge the physical nature of the course and voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation.

Agreement
By submitting registration, participants confirm that they have read, understand, and agree to the EST Aquatics course requirements, refund policy, physical readiness statement, and liability waiver.
